Noida: Network18 has categorically refuted recent media reports and industry speculation suggesting that Mitul Sangani is set to exit the group, stating that the reports are incorrect.
Communication issued by the company’s top management, Network18 clarified that, contrary to a media report and the general buzz, Sangani is not leaving the organisation. The note affirmed that he will continue in his current role as Chief Executive Officer of News18 Digital and will work closely with the leadership team on the company’s ongoing digital strategy.
Sangani, who took charge as CEO of News18 Digital in April 2025, has been associated with Network18’s digital news operations for more than seven years. Over this period, he has played a significant role in the build-out and evolution of the group’s digital-first news business.
His responsibilities have included driving revenue growth, expanding audiences, deepening user engagement, and strengthening brand positioning across platforms. Sources familiar with the matter said Sangani has been instrumental in shaping News18’s digital news portfolio and its growth trajectory.
