Mumbai: CtrlS Datacenters Ltd, Asia’s largest Rated 4 datacenter operator, today announced two significant leadership developments as it gears up for its next phase of growth and global expansion. The company has appointed Rahul Dhar as President – Global Datacenter Operations and elevated Vipin Jain to the role of President – Hyperscale Growth, Delivery & Innovation.
These strategic moves come at a time when CtrlS is expanding its footprint both in India and international markets, aiming to further enhance operational resilience, service delivery, and innovation in hyperscale datacenter solutions.
Rahul Dhar brings with him nearly two decades of experience in leading critical infrastructure and technology operations. Most recently, he served as Country Director – Datacenters at Microsoft India, where he was responsible for strategic planning, operational resilience, and capacity expansion for Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure in the region. He has also held leadership positions at Tata Communications, COLT, and Vodafone, managing cross-border teams and delivering complex transformation programs across global operations. Starting his career in Europe, Rahul has steadily progressed to leadership roles in India, with deep expertise spanning engineering, strategy, and operations.
In his new role at CtrlS, Rahul will lead the global datacenter operations charter, focusing on establishing a Central Command Center for enhanced visibility and incident response, driving process standardization and automation, and instituting training and competency frameworks. He will be responsible for strengthening uptime, operational resilience, and overall service excellence across CtrlS’s expanding global network.
