Mumbai: John Thankamony has been elevated as Managing Director – Total Addressable at Dentsu UK. He was most recently serving as Managing Director – Addressable Media & Total Commerce and has been associated with dentsu since 2020.
In his new role, Thankamony will lead a team of over 250 media specialists across key growth areas including digital partnerships, programmatic, retail media, affiliate marketing, mobile marketing and publisher partnerships for dentsu UK. The appointment reflects dentsu’s continued focus on strengthening its integrated, data-led and addressable media offerings for clients.

Thankamony brings extensive experience across marketing strategy, performance marketing, brand marketing, digital advertising and media transformation. Prior to joining dentsu, he has held leadership roles at Merkle EMEA, iProspect, Ctrl/Shift, IAB Southeast Asia and India, Mindshare, Dentsu Aegis Network, Google, Crisil Global Research & Analytics, and Necta Technology Pvt Ltd.
He began his professional journey in 2006 as a Sales Representative at Necta Technology, steadily building a career spanning nearly two decades across global media, technology and marketing organisations.
