Mumbai: Wavemaker India has announced the promotion of Dhiraaj K Kesaria to Senior Business Director. Kesaria, who shared the news via a LinkedIn post, steps up from his previous role as Business Director, a position he held since February 2023.
In his earlier role, Kesaria led integrated media and strategy planning for several marquee accounts including LinkedIn, Dream11, BCCI, Bisleri, Franklin Templeton, Sharekhan, Zydus Healthcare, and Zydus Lifesciences. He was responsible for managing annual revenues exceeding ₹350 crore, guiding high-performing teams, and delivering impactful, result-driven campaigns. He also played a pivotal role in crafting winning pitches for clients such as ICC, Sharekhan, and BCCI. His work has earned widespread industry recognition, including a Gold at the Emvies and the Grand Prix at the Abby’s for Dream11.
Kesaria’s prior stint at Wavemaker began in October 2020 as Associate Business Director on the L’Oréal account, where he managed campaigns worth ₹60 crore annually and drove efficiencies in media planning and optimization.
Before rejoining Wavemaker, he was Director – Media Planning at Starcom, overseeing integrated media planning for brands like Jeep, Ana Oils, and Vadilal Ice Cream (Ahmedabad). There, he managed business volumes exceeding ₹150 crore annually and delivered ROI-driven campaign strategies.
His career also includes leadership roles at Ventures Advertising and Pressman Advertising Limited, where he served for over four years.
With nearly two decades of experience in media strategy, business planning, and account leadership, Kesaria’s elevation reflects Wavemaker’s commitment to nurturing talent and driving continued excellence in its client offerings.
