Dove unveils ‘The Reborn Collective’ to spotlight stories of strength, resilience and renewal

Mumbai: Dove, a brand long associated with real beauty and care, has unveiled The Reborn Collective, a large-scale cultural movement that marks its most significant transformation in 15 years under the philosophy of Reborn Stronger. Designed to spark meaningful conversations through in-culture collaborations, the initiative celebrates real stories of resilience, renewal and rebirth, featuring both everyday women and well-known public voices who have rebuilt themselves after adversity.

Earlier this year, Dove introduced the Reborn Stronger philosophy with the launch of its Peptide Bond Strength haircare range, redefining damage care by framing breakage as a source of strength. Inspired by Kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken objects with gold, the philosophy extended beyond hair care through Dove’s collaboration with Reebok on Reborn in My Kicks, a sneaker collection symbolising renewal and resilience. With The Reborn Collective, Dove now takes this philosophy to its most expansive expression, creating a cultural platform that amplifies real stories of rebirth through podcasts, music and creative collaborations.

“Comeback stories, a rebirth, a rise after the fall are always inspiring,” said Sairam Subramanian, Vice President, Hair Care, Hindustan Unilever Limited. “But The Reborn Collective is not just about comebacks. It is about the real, raw, human moments that shape who we become. With Reborn Stronger: The Podcast and Reborn Stronger: The Anthem, we aim to capture the universal truth that transformation is not about erasing the past, but embracing it, repairing it, and finding strength.”

At the heart of the movement is Reborn Stronger: The Podcast, a multi-episode series featuring candid, unscripted conversations between women who have rebuilt their lives after setbacks. Episodes bring together a mix of familiar public figures and everyday changemakers, exploring themes of vulnerability, courage and reinvention. Conversations feature Neena Gupta and Sunita Rajwar on embracing imperfections, Zeenat Aman and Trinetra Haldar on identity and reinvention, Geeta Tandon and Rhea Chakraborty on rebuilding through hardship, and Aditi Parmeshwaran and Baljeet Kaur on empathy and overcoming personal and physical challenges. Alongside these voices, the podcast also highlights stories of everyday women across India, ensuring the platform remains story-led rather than celebrity-led.

Complementing the podcast is Reborn Stronger: The Anthem, titled “Jugni”, which captures the emotional essence of the movement through music and visual storytelling. Composed by Sneha Khanwalkar, written by Anvita Dutt, and voiced by Afsana Khan and Anumita Nadesan, the anthem reflects the breaking, rebuilding and reawakening that define the Reborn Stronger philosophy.

Through The Reborn Collective, Dove reinforces its positioning as a purpose-led beauty brand focused on shaping culture, not just communication. The initiative builds on Dove’s longstanding commitment to redefining beauty by celebrating strength, care and self-belief, reminding women that resilience can turn even the deepest cracks into symbols of strength.
