If there’s one thing that viewers can be assured of when it comes to the Timeliners, it’s that they will continue to entertain one and all with their hilariously brilliant portrayal of real-life incidents in reel life. While one looks for a remedy to the ongoing crisis that has plagued the world, the brand delivers the perfect dose of medicine – laughter. Garnering plaudits aplenty for making one laugh to their heart’s content in its first season, The Timeliners will be launching the second season of Social on TVFPlay and The Timeliners/Youtube on 14th of April.
Timeliners, in association with DSP Mutual Fund for its #BreakTheBias campaign, will be rolling out this stand-up special consisting of 10 videos. Featuring hilarious artists Jaspreet Singh and Karunesh Talwar, these videos capture the reality of all that one deals with on a daily basis. Each of the 10 short videos will surely take you on a roller coaster of emotions by highlighting the dilemma amongst people when it comes to decision making, due to them being heavily influenced by their emotions and biases.
DSP Mutual Fund has collaborated with these popular stand-up comics as they believe that the association will help viewers recognize certain absurd aspects of their decision-making in the best way possible- over a laugh, instead of boring them with technical jargons or giving them a lecture. DSP Mutual Fund asserts that these young comedians have the ability to make real observations about how we live our lives and make strange life and money decisions, in a fun, simple and extremely relatable manner.
Commenting on the collaboration, Abhik Sanyal (Head – Consumer Marketing, DSP Mutual Fund) said, “Human beings, no matter how smart, tend to be driven by emotions, which can lead us to be biased when it comes to decision-making. This could include simple choices made while shopping, dealing with complex relationships, investing our money and life in general. This series will hopefully help viewers become aware of their emotional slip-ups, known as ‘cognitive’ or ‘behavioral’ biases while also making them laugh. I think Karunesh& Jaspreet are brilliant at extracting insights from every-day situations while drawing parallels between absurd life decisions and odd money decisions. This stand-up comedy series is one more of DSP’s unique ways of helping create better, more responsible and more aware investors.”
