Bengaluru: Elior India, part of France-headquartered Elior Group, has announced key leadership elevations as it accelerates its vision to become the partner of choice in corporate food services and institutional dining. The appointments bolster expertise across operations, culinary innovation, regional expansion, and brand, aligning Elior’s global capabilities with local market needs.
Arindam Chakraborty has been named Chief Operating Officer, bringing over 25 years of leadership across hospitality and food services, including senior roles at K Hospitality, Brookfield Properties, Radisson Blu, The Claridges, Shangri-La, Oberoi, and Taj. Known for his operational discipline and entrepreneurial mindset, he will lead Elior India’s operating framework with a focus on efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
Joining him, Indrajit Chandra has been appointed Regional Head – Operations, Hyderabad, a strategic role as Hyderabad continues to emerge as a hub for Global Capability Centers (GCCs). With experience spanning Metro Cash & Carry, BigBasket, and Stanza Living, along with hospitality stints at Marriott and Radisson, Indrajit will help scale Elior India’s presence in this high-growth market.
On the culinary front, Chef Vijay David has taken charge as Executive and Innovation Chef. Trained in Europe and with over two decades of experience at ITC Hotels, Taj, IHG, Accor, and fine-dining establishments like Fava and Caperberry, he is known for blending classical technique with modern gastronomy. At Elior India, he will lead the Gourmet Innovation Centre, advancing a chef-led approach to food innovation, menu engineering, and client pilots.
To strengthen brand positioning, Romita Chatterjee has been appointed Head of Marketing & Communications. With nearly 20 years of experience across Hyundai, Honda, Bacardi, The Beer Café, Bharti Realty, and Brookfield Properties, Romita has a track record in repositioning brands and leading award-winning campaigns. At Elior India, she will focus on brand alignment, employer branding, and building trust through transparent communications.
