Mumbai: Emkay Global Financial Services Limited, a leading financial services group, today announced the appointment of Mr. Nirav Sheth as the Chief Executive Officer of Emkay Institutional Equities with immediate effect.
At Emkay, Nirav will spearhead the entire Institutional Equities team.
Mr. Sheth comes with more than 25-years of experience in various leadership roles across the capital markets and financial services industry and most recently served as the Head of Institutional Equities at SBI Capital Securities. Prior to joining SBI Capital, Nirav was associated with Edelweiss as the Head of Sales and subsequently as the Head of Research & Strategy. His experience in the industry is across a wide range of areas including Corporate Access, Research, and Portfolio Management among others. Nirav has also worked with ICICI Prudential as in charge of the PMS Equity Investment team, managing assets over INR 1,200 crores. Nirav is an MBA graduate in marketing from the Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies Pune
