Mumbai: Rishabh Nahar and Ankur Kaushik, two key figures behind the rise of India’s modern live comedy touring ecosystem, have launched Beacon Live, a live entertainment touring company aimed at shaping the next phase of global and domestic live experiences.
Drawing on their leadership experience at Only Much Louder (OML), where they helped scale artist touring, international expansion and marquee live milestones, the founders are now focused on building artist-first infrastructure, structured global touring pathways and original live properties under the Beacon Live banner. During their tenure at OML, they managed and worked closely with artists including Tanmay Bhat, Samay Raina, Biswa Kalyan Rath, Rohan Joshi, Sumukhi Suresh and Suhani Shah, among others.
Over the past decade, Nahar and Kaushik have played an instrumental role in developing scalable touring models and commercially viable comedy intellectual properties, helping Indian artists perform across more than sixty global markets. Their work contributed to landmark shows at iconic venues such as Madison Square Garden, Royal Albert Hall, Scotiabank Arena, Sydney Opera House and Dubai Opera. They also contributed to building large-scale touring ecosystems around leading artists such as Zakir Khan.
The founders’ experience has been supported by longstanding international relationships with organisations including United Talent Agency, Outback Presents, Soho Theatre, Live Nation, AEG Presents, BookMyShow and TribeVibe.
With Beacon Live, the founders aim to move from category-building within an organisation to independently shaping the next phase of live entertainment growth. Positioned as a full-spectrum touring and promotions partner, the company will operate across comedy, music and emerging performance formats, offering capabilities spanning domestic and international touring, IP and festival development, cross-border programming, consulting and strategic advisory.
Beacon Live’s approach focuses on creating structured and scalable touring ecosystems that prioritise long-term audience building, operational discipline and transparent partnerships. The company intends to treat touring not merely as isolated event production but as sustained market development for artists and audiences.

Speaking on the launch, Rishabh Nahar, Co Founder of Beacon Live said, “We’ve had the privilege of building within the ecosystem at a time when comedy and live touring were still finding their footing. After years of helping scale live formats and global touring pathways, Beacon Live is a natural extension of that journey. Beacon Live is rooted in the belief that the live industry can operate with greater depth of expertise, stronger execution discipline, and long-term ecosystem thinking. We’re bringing together everything we’ve learned, networks, credibility, and perspective to create sustainable opportunities for artists and partners at scale.”

Ankur Kaushik, Co Founder of Beacon Live added, “Our journey has been defined by growing alongside the artists and audiences that shaped this space. That proximity gave us insight into the structural gaps and opportunities within touring, programming, and experience building. Beacon Live is an artist-, consumer-, and experience-first company, and that principle informs every decision we make, from developing new formats to expanding global access for Indian talent and supporting the evolution of live infrastructure. We see this as a long-term commitment to strengthening the ecosystem rather than just participating in it.”
As India’s live entertainment sector enters a phase marked by increasing institutional recognition, infrastructure investment and global collaboration, Beacon Live positions itself at the intersection of experience, access and execution. By leveraging deep industry relationships and operational expertise, the company aims to accelerate the global movement of Indian artists, introduce international performers to domestic audiences, and build scalable live properties aligned with evolving audience demand and cultural exchange.
