New Delhi: FUJIFILM India, a diversified conglomerate spanning imaging, healthcare, electronics, and business innovation, has unveiled its latest brand film, “Healthcare Technology that Transcends,” as part of its ongoing “Stories of MORE SMILES” series. Shot in the breathtaking yet challenging terrain of Spiti Valley, the film brings to life a compelling narrative of resilience, innovation, and compassionate care reaching one of India’s highest and most remote regions.
Shot over three days with a crew of more than 50 people across Key Monastery and Langza Village, the film follows Rohini, a healthcare worker who travels through rugged mountain passes and sub-zero temperatures to deliver essential medical services to communities miles away from the nearest healthcare facility. The film is a visual tribute to the dedication of frontline workers operating in some of the toughest terrains in the country.
At the centre of the story is the Apollo Telemedicine Networking Foundation, whose team conducts mobile healthcare camps as part of FUJIFILM India’s “Care on Wheels” sustainability initiative. These camps have reached over 15,000 people across Himachal Pradesh, offering screenings, blood chemistry tests, and timely medical intervention. Their work exemplifies how advanced diagnostic solutions paired with human empathy can transform lives in underserved regions.
Conceptualized by FUJIFILM India’s Corporate Communications and CSR team in collaboration with CTA Communications, the film has been directed by Kshiteej Dua and produced by BAD Studio Productions LLP. Shot on FUJIFILM Fujinon Premista Cine Lenses, the film captures the spirit of technology-powered healthcare while bringing forth the stark beauty and geographic challenges of Spiti.
Expressing his thoughts on the film, Koji Wada, Managing Director, FUJIFILM India, said, “At FUJIFILM India, we are committed to delivering innovative products and solutions that embody our Group purpose of ‘Giving our world more smiles.’ By blending diverse ideas, unique capabilities, and extraordinary people, we aim to create solutions that bring joy and smiles to the world. This brand film reflects our belief that innovation in technology can be a bridge of hope and as a leading healthcare company we want to ensure that we put our technology to best use for the society.”
Abhi Shekhar Singh, Vertical Head, Corporate Communications & CSR, FUJIFILM India, added, “The brand film is an ode to the resilience of our healthcare technology as well as the staff of Apollo Telemedicine Networking Foundation who were delivering the service. The film was conceptualized after the launch of “Care on Wheels” CSR activity of ours which was supposed to serve Mandi and adjoining districts that needed help and care. My extensive travel made me realize that the work that our product and the healthcare workers were doing should be transformed into a beautiful film because these are real examples which can give new inspiration to people in the healthcare community and explore our technology. The shoot was done where air was thin, and temperatures were sub-zero on all the three days but the team of CTA Communications & Bad Studios were equally excited to support the noble cause with the storytelling.”
By blending cutting-edge diagnostic technology with a mission-driven narrative, the film reinforces FUJIFILM India’s commitment to making healthcare accessible even in the most isolated locations. Through the “Stories of MORE SMILES” series and ongoing CSR-led initiatives, the brand continues to highlight how innovation paired with empathy can inspire change and bring quality healthcare closer to every community.
