New Delhi: Greenply Industries Limited has introduced TermiVax, one of India’s first anti-termite vaccinated plywood technologies powered by advanced nanotechnology, marking a significant innovation in the country’s plywood and interior infrastructure market. The company has also filed a patent application for the proprietary technology.
Designed to provide superior lifetime protection against termites, TermiVax integrates anti-termite protection directly into the plywood during the manufacturing process. Unlike conventional surface coatings and post-installation chemical treatments, the nanotechnology-based solution penetrates deep into the plywood, ensuring comprehensive protection throughout the board rather than only on its surface.
The launch addresses one of the most persistent concerns for homeowners and businesses—termite infestation, particularly during damp and wet conditions that become more prevalent during the monsoon season. By embedding the protective technology into the plywood itself, Greenply aims to deliver a more durable and long-lasting solution for residential, commercial, and institutional applications.
According to the company, the technology has been thoroughly tested and approved by IPIRTI (Indian Plywood Industries Research & Training Institute), reinforcing its performance and reliability.

Commenting on the launch, Sanidhya Mittal, Joint Managing Director, Greenply Industries Limited, said,“At Greenply, innovation has always been guided by one simple objective to solve real consumer challenges through meaningful technology. Termite damage continues to be one of the biggest concerns for homeowners, particularly in a country like India where climatic conditions often accelerate infestations. This innovation reflects our commitment to continuously raising industry benchmarks by delivering advanced, more dependable and future-ready solutions for consumers which make your interior & home interior long last.”
Greenply said the new technology will be available across its entire Green range of plywood products, including Greenply Marine 710, Greenply Gold, Greenply Platinum, Greenply Club 500, and Greenply Club 700.
With the introduction of TermiVax, Greenply aims to redefine industry standards in termite protection while strengthening its portfolio of technology-led interior infrastructure solutions. The launch underscores the company’s continued focus on innovation, product durability, and delivering enhanced value to consumers through advanced manufacturing technologies.
