Mumbai: Gupshup has announced the appointment of Ravi Dugar as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), as the company prepares for its next phase of growth. With nearly two decades of financial leadership experience across high-growth businesses and global enterprises, Dugar will lead the company’s financial strategy as Gupshup continues to scale its conversational AI platform and strengthen its leadership in the category.
His appointment comes at a time when Gupshup is focusing on expanding enterprise adoption of its conversational AI solutions, advancing product innovation and building the financial infrastructure required to support its long-term growth ambitions.
Prior to joining Gupshup, Dugar held senior finance leadership roles at Bharti Airtel and Livguard Energy Technologies, where he worked across financial planning, governance and large-scale business operations. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Awfis, leading the company’s finance function and playing a key role in preparing the business for its public market debut in 2024.
At Gupshup, Dugar will work closely with the leadership team to shape the company’s long-term financial strategy, including capital allocation, investor engagement and financial planning. His responsibilities will also include strengthening financial processes and compliance frameworks while evaluating strategic opportunities such as partnerships, investments and acquisitions.

Dugar holds a Master’s degree in Chartered Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
