Mumbai: Worldwide Broker Network (WBN), a global alliance of independent insurance broking and employee benefits firms, has appointed Gurpal Singh Dhingra, Joint Managing Director of Prudent Insurance Brokers, as its new Chairman of the Board. With this appointment, Dhingra becomes the first leader from Asia to helm the network, marking a significant milestone in WBN’s global leadership journey.
The move is part of WBN’s structured succession and board rotation plan, reflecting the organisation’s commitment to diverse, representative, and future-ready leadership. Dhingra’s elevation comes after a two-decade-long association with WBN, built on enduring relationships, trust, and collaboration. It also underscores a broader shift in global leadership dynamics, reflecting Asia’s increasing contribution to the global insurance industry.
