Mumbai: 200 Privacy Experts, Advertising Executives and Legal Professionals from over 45 countries, joined a Virtual ‘Global Privacy Laws Handbook Launch’ that was conceptualized and executed by Hansa Events.
The handbook encompasses global privacy laws and recommendations on how businesses can comply with legalities of data protection in regards to advertising and marketing in different countries. It was put together in a joint effort by the International Advertising Association(IAA) and Global Advertising Lawyers’ Alliance.
Adapting to the new normal, we had the privilege to have some of the most eminent privacy experts and advertisers with us. The event virtually brought the stage alive and the speakers went live from the comfort of their home.
Mr. Nitin Paranjpe, COO, Unilever PLC, the Guest of Honour for the evening, spoke about data protection and privacy laws and the need for the regulators and brands to work together after which he unveiled the e-book and shared a copy with the dignitaries present followed by a Panel Discussion with 6 Industry Experts & Leaders from Aqilliz, Facebook, Klein & Selz, Heuking. Moderated by Ms. Carla Michelotti, IAA Global, Vice President-Government Affairs, the panel discussion and even took in a few questions from the audience Live Chat and had a Speed Round for all the panelists which made it an engaging and insightful discussion.
