MUMBAI: The Haryana Steelers, defending champions of the Pro Kabaddi League, today unveiled their new campaign ‘Hum Hai Haryana Steelers’ through a one-take film that captures the team’s journey; from being the underdogs to the undisputed champions, and now stepping into Season 12 with the determination to dominate. Shot in a single take, the film looks to bring Kabaddi to life in a way no team has attempted before; raw, powerful and cinematic. The one-shot treatment puts the spotlight on the players, portraying them in a never-seen-before light that blends the toughness of the sport with the pride of representing Haryana.
The film, voiced in Haryanvi, reflects the grit, hunger, and pride that define both the Steelers and the state. In line with this, the league has also announced the introduction of Haryanvi commentary this season, giving fans across Haryana an even stronger sense of connection with their team and the sport.
Divyanshu Singh, CEO, Haryana Steelers and JSW Sports, said, “The journey of the Haryana Steelers has always mirrored the spirit of the state; resilience, determination, and pride.
“With ‘Hum Hai Haryana Steelers’, we wanted to bring that essence alive through a film that speaks in the language of our people — and to capture it in a single-take shot that reflects the same fearlessness our players show on the mat. The addition of Haryanvi commentary by the league further strengthens that connect, making every fan feel this is their team. This season is about more than defending our title, it’s about dominating and owning the mat.”
