Gurugram: Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has appointed Amitabh Lal Das as the Chief Legal Officer & Business Head. This appointment reflects the company’s commitment to driving innovation, operational excellence and persistent growth, as it embarks on its next phase of expansion.

Amitabh Lal Das brings extensive experience in legal and related fields. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Arts (Honours) in 1990 and a Bachelor’s in Law from the University of Delhi in 1995. Additionally, he holds an international certificate in Enterprise Risk Management from the IRM, UK.
Previously, he served as Senior Legal Director and General Counsel for Yahoo India Private Limited and worked with Max Life Insurance Company Limited.
In his new role as Chief Legal Officer and Business Head, he will manage legal, compliance, and secretarial functions, reporting directly to Unsoo Kim, Managing Director of HMIL.
