2020 has been a year of uncertainty; however, as an established entity in the entertainment domain, ErosSTX India has risen to the challenge in these unprecedented times with perseverance, dedication and adaptation to uncharted market conditions. Despite the pandemic and the challenges that came along with it, we have always put our best foot forward, be it in launching new originals with remote technology, keeping up with the industry trends and our merger with Hollywood studio STX Entertainment. 2021 promises to be exciting for the media and entertainment industry as we can see a lot of potential growth and an opportunity to step into wider avenues for our marquee brand.

Provide Superior Content: We look forward for an entertainment-filled year with Eros Now announcing the biggest digital content slate for the year with 46 new titles including 33 film premieres and 13 new originals, strengthening growth in the OTT sector. Apart from spearheading business revival in the sector, we will also provide an unparalleled slate of content for our discerning audience.

Enhance Consumer Experience: We believe in keeping consumer experiences at the core and are looking forward to creating unique user experiences by leveraging advanced technology. Eros has been one of earliest movers in the adoption of technology which is also core strength of the brand. Partnership with brands like Microsoft, Epic Games, etc. to offer new interactive voice offerings, high quality production and VFX with better cost efficiency along with further penetration into nice markets enables Eros to continue its leadership position in the entertainment industry. Our strategic and distribution partnerships with the likes of Apple, Amazon, NBCUniversal and Google/YouTube to name a few, give us the edge to drive the brand’s success story.

Strengthen Global Market Position: As a group, we have always had global ambitions; with Eros STX merger we will present the best of Indian and International content to our worldwide audience. This merger will further help us with unique resources and capability to develop, produce and distribute premium Bollywood and Hollywood content at a scale and across platforms. We are looking at bringing to life stories that have a global appeal, irrespective of the language.

People Transformation: In 2021, we want to continue to help align our internal teams to the new ‘normal’ while adhering to the safety norms. For not being able to travel to specific places for meetings, we have made use optimum use of online communication technology. Open communication with employees and strategic planning helped us to alleviate issues with a positive mind-set. With advanced technology solutions we will be closely working with employees to improve engagement which will result in higher productivity.

Thought Leadership: Being a leading brand in the entertainment industry, we would also be part of forums or platforms like CII, FICCI, IAA, IMC, etc. to advocate initiatives and measures for the sector’ growth and identify opportunities for the evolution of the media and entertainment space. 2021 will be seeing ErosSTX set up newer benchmarks as we are truly poised to entertain the audience like never before, and grow as a standard-bearer for the entire industry.
