Mumbai: INNOCEAN India, the global marketing and communications network backed by Hyundai Motor Group, has appointed Ruchi Mishra as Vice President to lead its newly established Bengaluru office and drive the agency’s business growth across South India.
In her new role, Mishra will focus on strengthening client partnerships, expanding INNOCEAN India’s integrated capabilities and driving business growth across the region. She will be based in Bengaluru and report to Amitabh Sreedharan, EVP – Growth, and Santosh Kumar, COO, INNOCEAN Worldwide India.
South India has emerged as a key growth market, with sectors including mobility, electric vehicles, technology, fintech and D2C witnessing rapid expansion and increasing demand for integrated marketing solutions. Mishra will work closely with clients and teams to deliver end-to-end solutions across strategy, creative, media, content, digital, data and AI-led marketing.
Mishra brings nearly two decades of industry experience across agencies including Mullen Lowe and JWT/VML, Dubai-based research firm 4Sight, as well as independent consulting assignments across the EdTech, health tech and consumer sectors. She has worked on brand-building and business-growth mandates across categories and has been associated with brands including Idea Cellular, Lifebuoy, Fair & Lovely, Cholayil, Openhouse and Upfield’s Blue Band Margarine.
At INNOCEAN, Mishra will be responsible for developing the agency’s South India new-business pipeline, supporting its regional work for Hyundai and Kia, and establishing Bengaluru as a full-fledged strategic hub rather than a satellite office. She will also contribute to the network’s broader South India growth strategy across strategy, content, media and AI-led solutions.

Commenting on the appointment, Jaeho Yoo (Jaden), Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, INNOCEAN India, said, “India is one of the most important growth markets within the INNOCEAN global network, and we continue to invest in the talent and capabilities needed to support our long-term ambitions here. Ruchi’s appointment is an important addition to our leadership team as we strengthen our presence in South India. She brings deep market understanding, strong client leadership and an entrepreneurial mindset that aligns with the direction we are building towards. I am confident she will play a key role in helping us deepen client partnerships, expand our integrated offerings and accelerate the next phase of INNOCEAN India’s growth”
Ruchi Mishra said, “South India isn’t a market waiting to be discovered, it’s already moving, often faster than the communications industry serving it. I’m excited to build a genuine hub here for INNOCEAN, one that starts with a business’s real problem and brings together whatever combination of strategy, content, media, and AI-led capability actually solves it.”

Santosh Kumar, Chief Operating Officer, INNOCEAN India, said, “South India is a strategic growth market for INNOCEAN India, and Bengaluru is central to that vision. Ruchi’s experience in building businesses, leading high-performing teams and delivering integrated solutions makes her the right leader for this role. Her appointment reflects our continued focus on strengthening our regional presence, building long-term client partnerships and delivering marketing solutions that bring together creativity, media, technology and data.”
The appointment comes as INNOCEAN India expands its national footprint with new offices in Bengaluru and Mumbai. The agency is also pursuing a broader strategy of developing specialised hubs across digital, data, commerce, content and consulting, aimed at creating a more unified marketing ecosystem that enables closer client collaboration and faster market response.
