International Women’s Day: Red FM launches What Women Don’t Want campaign

For years now, we’ve seen people take the stage, occupy our screens, conduct surveys and do extensive research on one big question – What do women want? They say women are the most challenging people to crack. They’re confusing and creatures of mystery. And, we’ve been given plenty of warning signs. “They’re never fine when they say they’re fine”, “If a woman says she doesn’t want something, it means she wants it”, “Listen carefully, she’s dropping hints”. It sounds a little unrealistic, doesn’t it?. Well, that’s why this International Women’s Day, 93.5 Red FM has launched a unique campaign.

While the world continues to chase answers, Red FM asks one crucial question – What Women Don’t Want. This Women’s Day, Red FM invites men from all over the city to tell what they think women don’t want. Bengaluru’s women have the floor to debunk these myths on air. Red FM’s  RJ Tuhin and RJ Shaayan are spearheading this campaign, and apart from the  listeners, the campaign  also witnessed some of the  celebrities who have joined the campaign

Speaking to Medianews4u about the campaign, B. Surendar, COO & Director, Red FM network, said, “Most people who matter in this world appreciate the fact that women need to be empowered if the human race has to take a huge leap forward. The recent pandemic has further brought into focus the critical role women play in our lives. But to empower women, one has to understand their needs precisely. This Women’s Day, we at Red FMthought we’ll bajao the cause of women in Bengaluru by making people understand ‘what they want and even more importantly what they do not want a lot better!

He added, “This entertainment-packed social initiative of Red FM, which shall culminate on the 8th of March, has already evoked a fabulous response from both celebrities and public alike. Women have come on air to demolish the myths men have about their likes and dislikes once and for all.”
