(IPRS) is the sole authorized body to issue Licenses permitting usage of the original music by any person or establishment within India. It collects royalties from the users of this music and shares it with its Members i.e. the Author (lyricists), Composer (music directors), Owners (producers) of films and publishers (music companies).
