Gurugram: Juniper Green Energy has announced the appointment of Ankush Malik as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant leadership transition as the company charts its course for long-term growth and deeper participation in India’s renewable energy transformation.
With over 15 years of experience in the power sector, Ankush Malik brings a wealth of industry knowledge and a proven record in strategy, execution, and business development. He has been an integral part of Juniper Green Energy’s growth since joining on November 12, 2018, and was most recently inducted into the Board as Chief Operating Officer (COO) on April 30, 2024. His strategic leadership has been instrumental in advancing the company’s clean energy goals.
In his new role as CEO, Malik will oversee all aspects of company operations, including business development, project execution, construction, and regulatory strategy. His leadership is expected to drive the company’s expansion in India’s rapidly evolving renewable energy landscape.

An alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Lucknow, Malik has held senior leadership roles at Orange Renewable Power, and gained valuable experience at ICICI Bank and Lanco Infratech. His deep expertise in operational strategy, regulatory affairs, and clean energy development makes him well-positioned to lead Juniper Green Energy into its next phase.
