New Delhi: Kärcher India, a global leader in cleaning technology and solutions, has announced the appointment of Mr Puneet Sharma as Managing Director – Kärcher India, effective January 21, 2026.
Sharma brings over three decades of leadership experience across commercial, manufacturing, and engineering-led organisations. He has a strong track record of managing full P&L responsibilities, driving operational excellence, building high-performance teams, and leading large, multi-location businesses.
Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership positions including Managing Director, CEO, and Board roles with reputed organisations such as Konecranes & Demag, Kohler Group, Greaves Cotton, and Cummins India. In these roles, he played a key part in driving business growth, strengthening operations, and building scalable platforms for long-term success.
An engineering graduate from Delhi College of Engineering with an MBA from Indiana University, USA, Mr Sharma is recognised for his strategic acumen, people-centric leadership style, and strong focus on execution. In his new role, he is expected to steer Kärcher India’s next phase of growth and reinforce its leadership in the Indian cleaning solutions market.
