Kolkata: KCT Group, a leading diversified conglomerates, has expanded its senior leadership with the appointment of Yathish Kumar as Group Head – Marketing, as the diversified conglomerate sharpens its focus on growth, brand consolidation, and business diversification.
In his new role, Kumar will be responsible for driving integrated marketing, brand stewardship, and growth strategy across KCT Group’s varied portfolio. The Group’s businesses span bulk commodity logistics under KCT, integrated aquaculture through The Waterbase Limited, commercial real estate via Indian City Properties, a single-family office investment platform in Eraya Capital, along with CSR initiatives including KCT CSR and the non-profit arts and culture centre Tri Art & Culture.
Kumar brings over 16 years of cross-sector marketing experience to the role. Prior to joining KCT Group, he served as Head – Marketing Strategy, Research and Analytics at Casagrand Premier Builder Limited, where he played a key role in shaping brand strategy, strengthening customer advocacy, deploying marketing automation and CRM systems, and building data-led performance and analytics frameworks.
The appointment comes at a time when KCT Group is accelerating its next phase of expansion, with an emphasis on innovation, cross-business synergies, and long-term value creation. Alongside its commercial ambitions, the Group continues to deepen its CSR commitments, with initiatives focused on community development, sustainability, education, healthcare, and cultural enrichment.
