Mumbai: ‘Killer’, a denim brand since 1989 from the house of KKCL, has launched its new campaign “I Wear India, I Wear Killer” to mark its proud association with the Asia Cup 2025 as an official partner. The campaign celebrates Indian craftsmanship, youth culture, and world-class style, positioning Killer as not just a leader in India but also a global ambassador of “Make in India.”
Anchored by Killer brand ambassador and actor Meezaan Jafri, the campaign challenges the myth of international fashion superiority by highlighting Indian-made denim as bold, aspirational, and globally competitive.
Commenting on the campaign, Hemant Jain, Joint Managing Director, Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited, said, “Killer has always believed India doesn’t need to copy anyone. Our denim is born from local diversity, designed for our youth, and sets trends globally. ‘I Wear India, I Wear Killer’ tells the world that Indian fashion is ready to lead.”
Already a trailblazer in the Indian market, Killer has expanded its presence internationally across the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Africa. Its growing global retail footprint and premium product portfolio reinforce its ambition to emerge as a trendsetting export from India.
In the campaign, Jafri appears with the tagline “Upgraded. I Wear India” — reframing “Make in India” as a statement of ambition rather than necessity. The nationwide rollout includes outdoor media, digital activations, influencer collaborations, student design activities, and immersive retail campaigns.
Furthering its commitment to youth, Killer will open its factory and design studio to NIFT and other leading fashion institute students for workshops on denim innovation. To celebrate Indian fashion pride internationally, the brand is also launching a global incentive program offering subsidized purchases for foreign passport holders.
As part of its Asia Cup 2025 partnership, Killer branding will feature inside stadiums during matches, highlighting the brand’s longstanding connection to sporting spirit and youthful energy.
Killer is the flagship brand of Kewal Kiran Clothing Limited, one of India’s largest branded apparel manufacturers. With over 450 exclusive brand outlets (EBOs), 180+ K-Lounge stores, 800+ large-format counters, and 1,500+ MBO touchpoints, KKCL is aiming to expand to 600+ EBOs by FY2028, ensuring greater access to its consumers nationwide.
For decades, Killer has pioneered rebellious innovation — exporting Indian denim creativity to the world. With “I Wear India, I Wear Killer”, the brand reinforces its position as a bold, homegrown youth icon that sets the pace for global trends.
