Mumbai: Lav Chaturvedi, ED&CEO of Reliance Securities (RSEC), has been conferred with ‘Business Leader of the Year Award-2021’ for his role and contribution in leading RSEC to emerge as India’s fastest-growing financial services company, despite the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.
Chaturvedi was named the winner in the category “CEO of the Year” through a stringent selection process by an eminent panel of jury, comprising of renowned personalities such as Dr. Professor Mrs. Indira Parikh Ex Dean IIM Ahmedabad, Dr R.L Bhatia – Founder – World CSR Day & World Sustainability, Ms. Nina E. Woodard President & Chief “N” Sights Officer Nina E. Woodard & Associates a division of NDPendence, Inc., Mr. S. K. Dutt Sr. Advisor, UN’s UNCTAD – Empretec India, Dr. Arun Arora Executive Chairman at Edvance Schools, Mr. Sanjay Muthal Executive Director INSIST Executive Search. The selection criteria for the winner was based on the Key competencies in the context of business environment, strategic insight for survival and growth including giving back to the society“.
Chaturvedi, a distinguished leader of the Indian Capital Markets and Financial Services industry, enabled RSEC to emerge as the fastest-growing financial services business in India with an ever-expanding retail customer base of 1 million, 22,000 financial products and a pan-India presence across 3500+ touch-points and 60+ branches. He envisioned a unique “Phygital” business model & the Systematic Digital Engagements (SDE) growth model, which enabled R-SEC to grow by 25-30% at a pan India level and also witness a 50% growth in transactions, notwithstanding the challenges of the pandemic.
Thanking the jury for conferring him with the award, Chaturvedi said, “As a business leader, my goal has been to continuously innovate to ensure the growth of the company along with creation of equitable opportunities for financial investing. Chaturvedi received the award at an awards function held at Taj Lands’ End hotel in Mumbai recently.
