LG Channels and Moloco unite for streaming ad solutions in India

New Delhi: Moloco, an operational machine learning and performance advertising platform, has been selected by LG Electronics as its strategic partner for video ad delivery and demand generation on LG Channels, the company’s free ad-supported video content service, in India. This collaboration will empower Moloco to deliver in-stream video ads on LG Channels in the Indian market, offering advertisers a powerful platform to create impactful and data-driven campaigns.

Launched in India in September 2023, LG Channels is available on LG smart TVs, providing access to over 70 popular channels across categories such as news, movies, music, and entertainment, with plans for further expansion. With a global footprint of approximately 220 million LG smart TVs and over 3,800 free channels in 29 countries, LG Channels is rapidly becoming a major player in the Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV (FAST) sector.

The partnership with Moloco enhances LG Channels’ advertising capabilities by offering advanced targeting options tailored to India’s diverse viewer base. Moloco’s machine learning-powered technology will enable precise targeting by channel, language, and region, providing brands with the tools to optimize their campaigns and achieve superior performance in the Connected TV (CTV) space.

This partnership aims to deliver tailored ad experiences to more than 10 million Indian households with access to LG Channels, helping global advertisers run effective and targeted CTV campaigns in the rapidly growing Indian market. With Moloco’s advanced streaming media expertise and LG Channels’ expanding content library, the collaboration is set to redefine the future of advertising in India’s CTV ecosystem.
