Kochi: The first edition of the viral music reality show SaReGaMaPa Keralam in ZEE Keralam has finally declared its winner. Libin Scaria from Thodupuzha was announced the winner of the reality show telecast on Independence Day in ZEE Keralam. Libin received a sum of Rs. 25 lakh as his prize money.
Aswin Vijayan & Jasim Jamal was jointly declared 1st Runners Up and received an amount of 10 Lakh. Swetha Ashok was declared the 2nd Runner Up in the show and received 5 Lakh. Popular contestant Sreejish who made it into the finale by securing the maximum number of votes was declared fourth and received 2.5 Lakh and Keerthana was declared fifth winning prize money of 2 Lakh. Akbar Khan has declared the Best Performer with an award of Rs. 1 Lakh.
The teacher turned singer, Libin had said that the win was totally unexpected.
“I still can’t believe that I have won. All the other participants were so talented. When my name was announced, I couldn’t believe my ears,” Libin said.
Malayalam actresses Bhavana was the chief guest for the grand finale and she was all praises for the contestants gave their best in the grand finale making it equally a visual treat as well as an electrifying experience. Malayalam music composers Gopi Sundar and Shaan Rahman were the judges. Singer Sujatha, an integral part of the show couldn’t travel from Chennai due to the pandemic and instead passed on the responsibility to singer Sitara Krishnakumar who served as the third judge in the grand finale.
Soon after the winners were announced, the netizens were elated and flooded social media platforms with messaged congratulating everyone for their achievements.
SaReGaMaPa Keralam had an extraordinary run in ZEE Keralam for the past year. It has made most of its contestants play-back singers before the finale.
After a grand and star-studded finale, ZEE Keralam is all set to launch its latest WTP My Santa on August 22nd at 7 PM. The channel also is said to have lined up new exciting shows including Onam specials to delight their loyal audience base.
