Mumbai: Loca Loka, the India-based alcobev company redefining tequila for global markets, has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of three senior professionals — Rohit Srinivasan (Head of Marketing), Rajesh Israni (Head of Sales), and Ritesh Singh (Supply Chain & Logistics Manager). The move comes as the brand accelerates its global expansion and prepares for its India debut later this year.
The appointments mark a pivotal step for Loca Loka as tequila continues to outpace overall spirits growth globally. Together, the new leaders bring decades of combined expertise in brand building, sales expansion, and operational excellence.
- Rohit Srinivasan, as Head of Marketing, will chart the marketing roadmap and strengthen brand identity through disruptive campaigns and consumer-first strategies.
- Rajesh Israni, taking charge as Head of Sales, brings over 30 years of experience with leading alcobev brands, focusing on market expansion and distribution strategies across channels.
- Ritesh Singh, with over 15 years in logistics and compliance, will drive operational efficiencies and scale Loca Loka’s supply chain globally.
Speaking on the appointments, Rajiv Ghumman, Global Business Head, Loca Loka, said, “At Loca Loka, we believe in blending cultures, ideas and expertise to create something extraordinary. Bringing Rohit, Rajesh and Ritesh into the fold, we are merging deep-rooted expertise with bold, fresh perspectives to supercharge our global expansion. Together, we’re not just building a brand but telling a cross-cultural story that resonates with today’s globally curious consumer.”
Loca Loka has been rapidly scaling its footprint. In the U.S., it expanded distribution to Nevada, Washington DC, Maryland, and Massachusetts, following multi-city Cinco de Mayo activations. Its India entry is slated for Q4 2025, targeting one million bottles over three years, alongside new growth in Southeast Asia.
The brand’s craftsmanship has also been recognized globally, with Gold for Tequila Blanco and Silver for Reposado at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, followed by further wins at competitions in New York and Denver. Recently, Loca Loka raised $12.5 million from a Singapore-based family office to fuel R&D, portfolio innovation, and international rollout.
The global tequila market is projected to grow from $13.5 billion in 2024 to $24.2 billion by 2029 (CAGR 11.2%), with premium tequila expected to triple by 2033 — trends Loca Loka is well-positioned to ride.
With its award-winning Tequila Blanco ($40) and Tequila Reposado ($49), the brand continues to combine premium quality, authentic agave expressions, and bold storytelling, establishing itself as a disruptor in the global spirits industry.
