Bengaluru: Lokal, a vernacular digital products platform, has launched two category-defining apps, Sahi Jobs and AgriLokal, aiming to bridge trust gaps in employment and agriculture for Bharat’s workforce and farmers. Both apps are now available on Google Play Store.
Sahi Jobs is a 40-point verified job marketplace for blue- and grey-collar workers, tackling widespread hiring scams through AI-driven fraud checks, human review, and physical verification. The app delivers personalized job recommendations based on skills, intent, and location, and will eventually introduce employer reputation scores to reinforce trust.
AgriLokal connects farmers directly with agronomists, providing real-time guidance on soil health, pest control, irrigation, and modern farming practices in their native language, helping improve yields, reduce costs, and accelerate scientific adoption in villages.

“With AgriLokal and Sahi Jobs, we are deepening our commitment to solving real, everyday challenges for Bharat. These products reflect our broader vision of building dependable, language-first platforms that create lasting impact across work, livelihood and opportunity,” said Jani Pasha, Co-founder and CEO, Lokal.
The launches mark Lokal’s evolution from a regional content platform to a multi-app digital ecosystem of 53 apps across categories including jobs, agriculture, matrimony, edutainment, wellness, finance, and more, all in 10 Indian languages. By addressing structural gaps in employment and agriculture, Lokal continues to strengthen its position as a trust-first category creator for India’s digital economy.
Sahi Jobs and AgriLokal are live on Google Play Store, with plans to scale reach via more verified employers, agronomists, AI-driven fraud detection, and localized recommendations.
