Lokmat SurJyotsna Award has invited talented singers & musicians across India since last 3 years and it honors exceptionally talented singers and musicians
Mumbai: Lokmat has announced 4th edition of its prestigious musical award called Lokmat SurJyotsna Award. Through this award, Lokmat gives a platform to aspiring singers across India. This year is 4th edition of the awards.
Lokmat SurJyotsna Award has always had a prominent Jury who are noted names in the Indian music industry namely Pt. Jasraj, Hariharan, Kavita Krishnamurthy, D. L Subramanium, Shankar Mahadevan, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Prasoon Joshi, Shubha Mudgal, Roop Kumar & Sunali Rathod among others. This year a popular/film category has been added and singers can upload their video and audio files on a website – www.surjyotsna.org The winners will be rewarded with the cash prize of Rs. 1 lakh in each category along with an award trophy.
Over the last 3 years the Surjyotsna Music Awards have established itself as one of the prestigious music awards in the country. The awards are instituted by Lokmat Media Group in memory of Late Smt. Jyotsna Darda. SJMA’s mission is to identify and recognize music talent across India.
