Mumbai: MARS Petcare, the global pioneer in pet nutrition and care, has appointed Yojana Gawade as Director – Personnel and Organization (P&O) for India. Yojana will spearhead the human resource (HR) function, the people strategy, and its execution for Pet Nutrition India. Strengthening a diverse and inclusive work culture will be a key objective.
Yojana brings to the table more than 14 years of experience spanning business partnering and center-of-excellence verticals in the people function. She has worked at global companies, last at Mondelez India Foods as the Capability Lead for the Asia Pacific and the Middle East. She was responsible for the design and deployment of leadership roadmaps across six business units and worked on embedding future-forward capabilities.
Before that, Yojana served as the company’s Organization Effectiveness Lead and anchored various culture and diversity programs. She extensively partnered with integrated supply chain and sales functions for their transformation and change management agendas. She was also the Talent Management Lead for the business units in Malaysia and was pivotal in establishing commercial career paths and entry talent programs.
