Maruti Suzuki ARENA unveils campaign highlighting the benefits of 6 airbags

New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki ARENA has announced that 6 airbags will now come as standard across four of its most popular models—WagonR, Alto K10, Celerio, and Eeco. This strategic update aligns with the brand’s vision to make high-end safety technology accessible to Indian consumers at every level.

With this move, these updated models join Swift, Dzire, and Brezza in offering enhanced occupant protection as a standard feature across the Maruti Suzuki ARENA portfolio. The 6-airbag system includes dual front airbags, side airbags, and curtain airbags—providing comprehensive safety for all passengers.

“India’s rapidly expanding modern road infrastructure, high-speed expressways, and evolving mobility patterns imply that the need for robust safety measures has never been greater. We at Maruti Suzuki are committed to staying ahead of evolving customer expectations and making high-end safety accessible. With the decision of making 6 airbags standard in the WagonR, Alto K10, Celerio, and Eeco, we are ensuring that enhanced safety is available for all. Given the immense popularity of these models, this move substantially elevates safety standards for a vast number of motorists and contributes holistically to occupant protection nationwide,” said Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Maruti Suzuki India Limited.

The safety enhancement comes alongside a robust suite of advanced features including Electronic Stability Program+ (ESP®), Hill Hold Assist#, and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD)—ensuring a comprehensive approach to both active and passive safety.

To raise public awareness of the critical importance of airbags, Maruti Suzuki ARENA has also rolled out a high-energy marketing campaign. Embracing the brand’s youthful and energetic spirit, the campaign uses engaging activities like Zorbing and Bubble Football to metaphorically showcase the protection that 6 airbags can offer.

Available across Maruti Suzuki ARENA dealerships nationwide, the upgraded models reflect the brand’s larger mission: to embed advanced safety as a standard offering—not a premium feature—for Indian families across urban and rural landscapes alike.
