New Delhi: Moj, the homegrown short video platform from ShareChat, has unveiled the winners of the March edition of its Micro Drama Challenge, an initiative aimed at accelerating India’s emerging short-form storytelling ecosystem.
The programme, positioned as a first-of-its-kind accelerator, is designed to identify, finance, and nurture the next wave of storytellers and production houses creating vertical micro drama series for mobile-first audiences. As part of the initiative, winning creators gain access to an annual budget of ₹24 crore to scale their content and build high-engagement franchises.
The March edition saw participation from over 100 creators and production houses across India, highlighting the growing traction of the micro-drama format. After a month-long competition, True Dreams Entertainment emerged as the winner with its show “Thukra Ke Mera Pyaar”, securing the top prize of ₹25 lakh. Cine Short Premiere followed with “Paisa Pyaar Parivaar”, earning ₹15 lakh, while Tamasha secured the third spot with “The Dirty Wedding”, winning ₹10 lakh.
Other notable participants, including Nazarbattu Creations, M2R, and Humara Movies, also showcased strong content capabilities but did not make it to the final podium.

Commenting on the initiative, Manohar Singh Charan, Co-Founder & CFO, ShareChat, Moj & Quick TV, said, “Micro-dramas are emerging as a powerful storytelling format, resonating strongly with today’s mobile-first audiences. With the Moj Micro Drama Challenge, we wanted to create a meaningful pathway for creators and production houses to not only showcase their talent but also access real opportunities to build and scale in this category. The response has been incredibly encouraging, and we have made the decision to increase our annual budget to ₹24 Cr. We’re excited to support the next generation of storytellers through this accelerator programme and have already started receiving multiple entries for this month’s edition.”
As short-form content consumption continues to rise, ShareChat, Moj, and Quick TV are doubling down on creator-led innovation, reinforcing their commitment to building scalable formats that redefine how India engages with digital entertainment.
