Mumbai: Balaji Digital, the digital content arm of Balaji Telefilms, continues to strengthen its position as a leading force in premium storytelling with a diverse slate of culturally rooted yet contemporary narratives. Known for creating content that resonates deeply with evolving audiences, the studio remains committed to bringing fresh, emotionally engaging stories to the digital forefront. Expanding this vision, Balaji Digital, under the banner of Balaji Studios announces its upcoming show Ishk Dum Aur Idli Rasam, a heartfelt drama that blends food, romance, and light-hearted comedy.

The show also marks an exciting new milestone for Surbhi Chandna, who steps into the role of producer in this project with her production house ‘Feel Good Studios’. Starring Shiny Doshi as Meera Nair, the series is set in a heritage South Indian restaurant and explores themes of family, legacy, and emotional inheritance. At its core, the show celebrates how food becomes a language of love, memory, and identity, where tradition meets ambition, and relationships are tested as much as recipes.
