Mumbai: Moneycontrol has extended its leadership of business news, recording the highest number of unique visitors in this category in February, according to global audience measurement agency Comscore.
With a total digital population of 63.8 million unique visitors in February, Moneycontrol drew more than twice the audience of The Economic Times, which had 31.4 million unique visitors.
Moneycontrol’s lead over The Economic Times was also evident across other digital metrics. Comscore data shows Moneycontrol recorded 279.8 million page views in February, nearly three times The Economic Times’ 93.1 million, reflecting robust engagement across its content.
Comscore data on engagement, as measured by time spent by readers, highlights an even wider gap. Moneycontrol users spent 546.3 million minutes on the website during February, more than four times the 129.7 million minutes logged by The Economic Times.

“The gains in users and engagement come at a time when investors are navigating war-related risks and geopolitical flux” said Nalin Mehta, Managing Editor, Moneycontrol. “In such uncertain times, readers and investors are seeking clarity and our focus is to deliver timely, credible information that helps them navigate this uncertainty.”
