Bengaluru: Mukund Setlur quits Network18, sources confirmed his exit. As Business Head Regional network he joined in October 2015 and this was his second stint at Network18. His first stint with the Network18 as Senior Vice President way back in 2006.
In his career span of over 23 years, Setlur was associated with both Broadcast Network and Advertising agencies. His media career started with Sun TV in 1993 and later moved to McCann Erickson.
For a brief period he was a media controller at Purnima Advertising and handled key clients such as Nirma, Manikchand, Medimix, Jivraj Tea, and Badshah Masala with an advertising budget of over Rs.70 crores per annum.
Before joining Network 18 Group in 2006 as Senior Vice President, Setlur was associated with TV Today, The Media Edge and NDTV.
