Nature’s Basket celebrates the spirit of cricket season with its new campaign #GetMatchready’

Mumbai: Nature’s Basket, a part of RP Sanjiv Goenka Group’s retail flagship Spencer’s Retail, India’s foremost retail destination for fine foods from across the world, announced the launch of its new consumer connect campaign #GetMatchReady. The brand has unveiled the first, in a series of three, digital films that promotes same-day contactless delivery & rapid delivery at select pin codes. They have wide ranges of snacks and ready-to-cook ingredients so fans can enjoy the game while tucking into some delicious treats that are delivered to their doorstep.

The first 60 seconder digital video showcases Jatin Sapru, an Indian TV sports journalist, television host, broadcaster and cricket commentator, is ready to watch a cricket match with his wife and resorts to Nature’s Basket as his snacking partner for this cricket season. The film showcases the range of gourmet, healthy, and fresh snacks available on Nature’s Basket’s omnipresent platforms. It also highlights the fact that ordering in food/ingredients is so convenient, safe and contactless with Nature’s Basket.

The video, conceptualised by Nature’s Basket, showcases how good food helps enhances the match viewing experience. It also encourages consumers to stay home, stay safe without having to miss out on any of the excitement. The film also stays true to the brand’s promise of #TasteTheWorld while showing the variety of gourmet snacking options and international ingredients that are available with a click of a button and get delivered in a day with NB’s same-day delivery promise at select stores.

On the launch of the film, Mr. Devendra Chawla, CEO, Nature’s Basket, and Spencer’s Retail, said: “The cricket season has always been a carnival of sorts – right from the ambience in the stadium to the banter between fans online. The cricket season brings with it a lot of enthusiasm, hope and the spirit of celebration for all the families across the nation in this difficult time. In order to usher in a sense of enthusiasm, we launched a campaign to create excitement among consumers by asking if they are ready for the match. With these films, we want to encourage families to spend more time together without having to worry about shopping for food or cooking. We wanted to be a part of this celebration by staying true to our promise of delivering grocery same day with utmost care.”

Nature’s Basket also offers variety of international recipe kits and gourmet ingredients that can be used to cook various cuisines instantaneously. As a part of this campaign, Nature’s Basket also encourages their customers to share pictures of the snacks they shopped at Nature’s Basket and them watching the matches with their loved ones using #GetMatchReady. The best pictures can win a snack platter from Nature’s Basket.

Nature’s Basket has a wide range of the freshest fruits and vegetables, fresh and frozen meats and seafood, a wide range of bread and other packaged bakery products, as well as a collection of fresh cheese from around the world. They also have gifting needs for every occasion with an extensive range of hampers that cater to every need. Nature’s Basket trains its staff regularly to ensure they adhere to strict standards of hygiene and safety. All delivery orders are sanitised and disinfected before it reaches the customer. The stores are cleaned and sanitised regularly, and customers are encouraged to maintain social distancing.

The digital film is live across Nature’s Basket’s Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Twitter platforms.
