Mumbai: NDTV Gadget Guru Awards produced by NDTV Prime and NDTV Good Times,seen as country’s biggest awards that honour innovations in the field of Gadgets and Technology was awarded as the Best Television/Film Event at India’s Grandest Television Awards, the Indian Television Academy Awards 2017.
In addition, NDTV Good Times won the Best Interstitial/Filler Award for The Milestone Years filler.
From Green Revolution to Mission Mars, The Milestone Years filler was aired on the channel as part of the Independence Day celebration. It featured all the pioneering moments of India since her Independence, right from the Midnight Hour of 1947 to when she set a World record by launching 104 Satellites in a single mission in 2017, or from achieving Green Revolution in 1966 to making a country of 1.3 billion people – Polio Free in 2014.
Indian Television’s Premier Awards Show, the 17th ITA Awards were held in Mumbai on 5th November. The current Union Minister for Textiles and Information & Broadcasting, Smt. Smriti Irani was the Chief Guest of the evening.
