New Delhi: In a powerful step towards driving cancer awareness and early detection, News Tak, in collaboration with AstraZeneca, has launched #Shuruaat, a multi-platform campaign aimed at inspiring timely screening, diagnosis, and treatment through the voices of patients, caregivers, and medical experts.
With the core message that “early detection can save lives,” the campaign humanises the conversation around cancer, bringing forward real-life stories of resilience and hope. It emphasises that awareness is the first step towards survival — a reminder that every life saved begins with a shuruaat (a beginning).
Leveraging the extensive vernacular reach of the Tak digital network, the campaign is being disseminated through digital films, reels, long-format interviews, and interactive social media content. Anchors from News Tak, Health Tak, and Sports Tak have united to amplify the message, while prominent influencers have also lent their voices — sharing personal reflections and encouraging audiences to prioritise proactive health check-ups.
Built on empathy, credible information, and the power of human stories, #Shuruaat aims to transform cancer awareness into a movement — one that connects science with society and inspires India to take the first step toward prevention and healing.
