News18 Kannada recently hosted the inaugural awards ceremony, ‘Business Leaders & Excellence Awards 2022’, celebrating pioneering initiatives by the brilliant entrepreneurs and ingenious business minds of Karnataka.
The ceremony was held at ITC Gardenia, Bengaluru on August 27, and will be telecast on News18 Kannada on 31st August, 4 pm onwards, with a repeat telecast on 1st September at 10 am.
The awardees include stellar business professionals and entrepreneurs, who have been indispensable because of their support in skill development, employment generation, technological advancement, and product innovations combining into a herculean contribution to the overall economic development of Karnataka.
These professionals were broadly divided into 19 categories such as Excellence in Customized IT Solutions, Excellence in Textile Retail Industry, Excellence in Nursing Education, Excellence in Industrial Innovation, and many more.
The inaugural event featured a broad guest list including industry experts from all walks of life and Sandalwood celebrities. Gracing the occasion were Dr C N Ashwath Narayan – ITBT and Higher Education Minister of Karnataka; R. Ashok, Revenue Minister; K Govindaraj – MLC and Vice-President of Indian Olympic Association; N A Haris – MLA, Shantinagar; actors Ramesh Aravind, Manvita, and Archana Jois.
