Mumbai: News18 Marathi successfully hosted Krishi Parishad 2026, a landmark initiative dedicated to empowering Maharashtra’s farming community through knowledge-sharing, innovation, and dialogue on the future of agriculture.
The event brought together leading agri-entrepreneurs, experts, and progressive farmers to discuss emerging opportunities and sustainable solutions shaping the sector.
The event was graced by the presence of Maharashtra’s Agriculture Minister, Dattatray Vithoba Bharne, whose insights on the evolving agricultural landscape and government initiatives added immense value to the discussions.
The Parishad served as a vibrant platform for exchanging ideas and recognising individuals and organisations making significant contributions to agriculture and allied sectors.
The conference featured engaging panel discussions and presentations on key themes including allied agricultural businesses and the opportunities they offer, innovative and modern farming practices, climate change and sustainable agriculture. Experts and industry leaders shared their experiences, success stories, and practical solutions, inspiring farmers to embrace new-age technologies and resilient farming models.
Among the distinguished guests and participating organizations were Sandeep Meshram from RS Agroavatar; Sanjay Pawar from Poorva Chemtech, Sachin Bhosale from Ashtavinayak Hi-Tech Nursery; Atul Ganyarpawar from Chamorshi Taluka Sahakari Sangh, Gadchiroli; Shatrughan Jadhav from Venkatesh Happy Organic Products; Vishal Ashok Bagle from Ashok Agricultural Borewell Stimulation Services; Sujay Gitaram Pachange from Poshinda Organic; Confidence Petroleum India Limited, Nagpur, represented by Suresh Rajaram Pathare; Ardra Corporation Private Limited, represented by Pravin Dileep Mane; Kanhaiya Agro, Baramati Eco Systems and Technology Pvt. The evening concluded with an engaging interview with Agriculture Minister Dattatray Vithoba Bharne, where he spoke about the challenges and opportunities facing Maharashtra’s farmers and emphasised the importance of innovation, sustainability, and collaboration in agriculture.
