Chennai: In its genuine attempt to identified and acknowledged the inspiring Women achievers, News7 Tamil’s Thangatharagai Awards has crowned, a new set of torch bearers, on its 2nd edition of award ceremony held on Thursday, 21st February at the KalaivanarArangam in Chennai.
The award, ideated and executed by Cornerstone, has bestowed 12 awards from various fields of society. The awardees are selected through a research team, validated by a distinguished Jury and certified by a Knowledge Partner.
The winners of the prestigious ‘Thangatharagai Awards 2019’ includes Bama for Literature, Arul Mozhi Saravanan for Business Inspiring Star, Akhila Srinivasan for achievement in Retail Business, Srimathi Kesan for her contribution towards Science and technology, Madhavi Latha for her performance in Sports, Geetha for Social service, Amutha IAS for her administrative skills, Rajalakshmi for being the Inspiring Star in filed of Entertainment, Aishwarya Rajesh for her outstanding performance in Entertainment Industry. Legendary Singer Chitra was conferred with the lifetime achievement award.
