Pune: NIOEyes+, an eye care hospital and reputed institute, has announced the launch of its new awareness initiative, #FrameFreeFuture. The campaign aims to educate patients about the safety, efficacy, and advanced care protocols available for vision correction treatments, addressing common misconceptions that often lead to hesitation.
As part of this initiative, NIOEyes+ will conduct extensive on-ground activities—including multiple eye camps and awareness sessions—alongside a robust digital outreach programme. The integrated campaign is designed to help patients gain an in-depth understanding of modern vision correction technologies and treatment options.
Speaking on the launch, Dr. Aditya Kelkar, Director, NIOEyes+, said, “There are several patients who would like to get rid of their dependence on glasses and contact lenses in their daily lives. But due to a few misconceptions and misunderstanding about the safety of vision correction treatments, we have noticed hesitancy in seeking it. Our hospital has been at the forefront of providing such treatments since 1993. We have helped several patients since then using the latest technology as well as following world class safety protocols. Thereby, we have launched this campaign not only to dispel any fears they may have with regards to such treatments but also get an in-depth understanding of the advances made in this field.”
The sustained campaign, set to run until February 2026, will include eye camps and awareness sessions at metro stations, colleges, and corporate offices across Pune. In addition, the institute will roll out targeted ad campaigns online and across platforms such as radio, social media, and citywide display posters.
Through #FrameFreeFuture, NIOEyes+ aims to encourage young adults, working professionals, and individuals seeking visual independence to explore safe and reliable alternatives to glasses and contact lenses, reinforcing its commitment to accessible, advanced, and trustworthy eye care.
