New Delhi: Niva Bupa Health Insurance Company Limited and Zepto, the country’s fastest-growing quick commerce platform, have joined forces this Independence Day for a campaign that creatively underscores the importance of health insurance.
The collaboration blends outdoor advertising, branded delivery experiences, and digital integration to reach consumers across key metros. The campaign launches with a witty out-of-home (OOH) execution, where Zepto’s billboards highlight their promise of delivering attractive deals in just 10 minutes, while adjacent Niva Bupa billboards respond with a sharp reminder — there are no discounts on hospital bills. This juxtaposition serves as a striking call to safeguard against high medical costs.
Extending the message into customers’ homes, Zepto orders in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai will be delivered in co-branded bags carrying the bold statement: “Freedom sale everywhere except on Hospital Bills.” Zepto’s platform will also host a dedicated page featuring real Niva Bupa customer testimonials, along with an option for users to connect with an advisor for a personalised consultation.

“Our partnership with Zepto is a unique and innovative way to communicate a thought-provoking message with a light-hearted approach,” said Nimish Agrawal, Director – Digital Business Unit & Chief Marketing Officer, Niva Bupa Health Insurance. “Our Independence Day campaign – No Freedom Sale aims to remind people that there are no sales on hospital bills and reinforce that true financial freedom comes from being protected against unforeseen medical expenses. Our goal is to help people secure that freedom through the right health insurance plan. This partnership with Zepto allows us to reach a wide, urban audience and drive home the point that health insurance is a non-negotiable part of financial planning.”

“At Zepto, we are always looking for creative and impactful ways to engage with our users,” added Chandan Mendiratta, Chief Brand and Culture Officer, Zepto. “This partnership with Niva Bupa is a perfect example. The OOH banter and branded bags are memorable touchpoints that will encourage our users to think about their health and financial security — a key step towards true independence.”
With this initiative, both brands aim to drive home a crucial financial message while creating high recall through a campaign that is clever, relatable, and impactful.
