New Delhi: London-based technology company Nothing has announced the appointment of Hemant Kundavaram as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for Nothing India. With more than two decades of experience across finance and accounting, Kundavaram brings deep expertise in fundraising, investor relations, IPOs, and capital market operations to shape the company’s financial strategy in one of its fastest-growing markets.

A Chartered Accountant from the batch of 2005, Hemant completed his B.Com in 2002 from Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. His career spans leadership roles at Ford India, IBM, Thomson Reuters, and Rockwell Collins, before moving to promoter-led startups in 2015. Most recently, he served as CFO at PMI Electromobility.
This move marks the second major senior leadership hire for Nothing India, following the appointment of Akis Evangelidis as India President. The announcement comes on the back of a strong Q2 2025 performance, with Nothing reporting 146% YoY growth, making it the fastest growing smartphone brand in India for the sixth consecutive quarter (Source: Counterpoint Q2 2025 Smartphone Shipment Tracker).
