Nykaa sets record with largest-ever GRWM digital drop featuring Deepika Padukone

Mumbai: Nykaa made a grand splash with the announcement of Deepika Padukone as its brand ambassador, creating not just a celebrity reveal but a record-breaking cultural moment. To mark the occasion, Nykaa launched the largest-ever GRWM (Get Ready With Me) digital drop, enlisting 500+ creators and generating over 10 million impressions, transforming a beauty ritual into a nationwide celebration.

The campaign centers on the ‘Get Ready With’ concept in beauty, emphasizing that getting ready is not just about the world but about choosing yourself. In a culture that often demands women “do more” for others, Nykaa reframes beauty as an act of self-care, creativity, and personal connection. Whether it’s a morning shower, a favorite fragrance, or a swipe of lipstick, every small moment is an affirmation of self—and however you get ready, you get ready with Nykaa.

By mobilizing its community of creators, NAPPers, and beauty enthusiasts across India to go live simultaneously, Nykaa created a synchronized digital festival. Participants showcased their routines using favorite beauty essentials from brands like Smashbox, Estée Lauder, Too Faced, Nykaa Wanderlust, BiE, Moxie Beauty, Schwarzkopf, Innisfree, Bioderma, Laneige, and Dr. Jart+. The campaign’s first wave delivered 2.4 million views, 2.6 million plays, and reached 2 million unique users, turning individual routines into a pink carpet of community-driven beauty content.

The digital wave was complemented by a massive OOH rollout across Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore, activating over 180 sites simultaneously, including skyline-dominating locations, bus shelters, and metro stations with mirror installations. Spotify activations and digital partnerships further amplified the campaign, making Deepika omnipresent and the GRWM concept a 360° cultural event.

When Deepika launched her first Nykaa campaign, “Sirf Bahar Jaane Ke Liye Kaun Tayar Hota Hai? Tum Hi Ho Nykaa”, it arrived on a foundation of record-breaking creator activity, high-impact city takeovers, and a new cultural narrative—beauty isn’t about occasions; it’s about choosing yourself. With this, Nykaa has not only unveiled its global ambassador but also created a new cultural IP: Get Ready With Nykaa, set to evolve into one of beauty’s biggest collective rituals.
