Mumbai: Omnicom Media APAC CEO Tony Harradine has announced a sweeping new leadership structure designed to steer the combined Omnicom–IPG media organisation toward accelerated growth, innovation, and stronger regional cohesion.
In an internal communication to employees, Harradine acknowledged the complexity of bringing two large networks together. He noted that such transitions require tough decisions but emphasised the company’s commitment to supporting employees with transparent communication and guided change management.
He added that the newly integrated leadership team now reflects talent and expertise from both legacy organisations, combining capabilities in service of a unified growth vision for the region.

Leadership Movements and Merger Impact
The consolidation follows the earlier departure of Leigh Terry, who exited his role as CEO of IPG Mediabrands APAC as part of the post-merger restructuring. Harradine has taken over APAC responsibilities following Terry’s exit. Terry previously led Mediabrands across 16 markets since 2017, overseeing more than 5,000 employees and guiding the network through major shifts in digital media and data-driven marketing.
Harradine acknowledged that while many leaders will be familiar faces across the region, several teams will now be collaborating with new regional and market heads for the first time. Additional operational details and integration updates will be shared during upcoming townhalls.
Cultural Alignment and Next Steps
Calling the merger a “natural evolution,” Harradine highlighted shared values between the two organisations—client-centricity, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to talent. This alignment, he said, will enable the combined entity to move “quickly and confidently” as it establishes new workflows and strategic priorities.
On a broader level, Omnicom has confirmed that several long-standing agency brands will be retired as part of the integration, a move that will also involve reducing its global workforce by more than 4,000 roles.
The combined organisation is set to make its formal debut at CES 2026, where it will also showcase the next-generation Omni platform. The group’s year-end earnings announcement in February will offer more detail on integration progress, financial synergies, and the path ahead, followed by an Investor Day presentation.
