Nationwide programme offers hands-on learning, expert mentorship and immersive photography experiences with the Find X Series

OPPO India launches ‘The Snap Circle’ to nurture young photography talent across Indian campuses

New Delhi: OPPO India has announced the launch of The Snap Circle, a nationwide college-level initiative aimed at empowering young photography enthusiasts and nurturing the next generation of visual storytellers. Rooted in OPPO’s brand philosophy, “Make Your Moment”, the programme brings together advanced technology, creativity and mentorship to enable authentic self-expression among students.

Designed as a long-term platform, The Snap Circle offers participants a hands-on learning journey through real-world photography assignments, expert guidance, and immersive experiences using OPPO’s flagship Find X Series, featuring the brand’s most advanced imaging capabilities. The initiative seeks to strengthen industry–academia collaboration while building a vibrant creator ecosystem across campuses.

Commenting on the launch, Goldee Patnaik, Head of Communications, OPPO India, said, “Our brand philosophy, Make Your Moment, reflects our belief that the youth should be able to express their authentic perspective with technology. With The Snap Circle, we are crafting a space where students can experiment fearlessly and discover their own visual voice through real-world photography with the Find X Series. By bringing together advanced imaging technology, mentorship, and a supportive community, we aim to inspire the new-age storytellers to transform everyday moments into meaningful narratives.”

At participating colleges, students will go through a simple registration and shortlisting process, after which ten participants will be selected based on creativity, technical understanding and passion for photography. Shortlisted students will receive Find X Series smartphones for a 10-day themed photography challenge.

Final submissions will be evaluated by OPPO’s camera team on parameters such as composition, lighting, colour balance and subject focus. The top two winners will receive Find X smartphones, while the remaining eight participants will be awarded participation certificates.

Beyond the competition, shortlisted students will become part of the Snap Circle Community, a year-long engagement featuring workshops, curated photo walks, exclusive product experiences and continued mentorship from industry experts.

The programme commenced at JECRC University in Jaipur and will expand in 2026 to leading universities across nine locations, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad and Bhubaneswar.

By giving students access to the industry-leading imaging system of the Find X Series in real-world settings, The Snap Circle goes beyond a campus activity to become a meaningful pathway for young talent to explore and shape the future of mobile photography. OPPO India reiterated its commitment to investing in platforms that foster curiosity, skill-building and creative confidence among India’s aspiring photographers.
