This address by the Prime Minister was watched by 197 MN people on television across 201 channels, which totals to 3891 viewing minutes.
These figures were revealed as findings in a report on TV + Smartphone Consumption Report during Covid-19 presented by BARC India and Nielson.
The Janata Curfew address on 19th March 2020 was watched by 83MN people across 191 channels. Other addresses of PM Modi include the likes of Demonetization and Article 370 too have not seen such huge numbers.
