Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies gear up to host the audio launch of Ponniyin Selvan 2 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai on 29th March. The event will feature live performances of all the songs of the film, which is composed by AR Rahman.
The sequel, directed by Mani Ratnam, depicts Arulmozhi Varman’s journey towards becoming Rajaraja I, the most eminent ruler of the historical Chola Empire in Southern India
The film features a star-studded cast comprising some of the prominent actors from the Indian film industry. Vikram portrays Aditya Karikalan, while Jayam Ravi plays the lead character of Arulmozhi Varman (Ponniyin Selvan), and Karthi essays the role of Vandiyathevan. The female leads include Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Nandini, Trisha Krishnan as Kundhavai, and Aishwarya Lekshmi as Poonguzhali.
